Trading Spot Forex, Equities and Futures using "Long Term Moving Averages" as Support and Resistance. The strategy consist of breakouts from the 800 or 200 simple moving average (sma) Bollinger Band. Will take into account the 800sma, 200 sma, the 50 sma and recent high/lows as support and resistance. Reversal patterns "double bottom" or "double top" near a Bollinger Band will trigger a trade.

Short term Short Trade Eur/Usd NFP

The Eur/Usd pair had broken the 800sma SurpriseBox on the 15 minutes chart on the downside. This trade is based on the weekly chart that formed a bearish engulfing pattern last week. This engulfing pattern is just at the line of a rebound from neck broken on a head and shoulders pattern.

Eur/Usd short position

First target of the Eur/Usd short position in. Now it seems like a bearish engulfing pattern on the weekly chart. Will trade accordingly next week.

Out of Eur/Gbp SuspriseTrade Feb-2012

Stopped out in the Eur/Gbp position. Alive in the Eur/Usd short position. The latter broke the 800sma 4h SurpriseBox to the downside with a double top. Expected to travel at least till the 200sma that might act as resistance. A more aggresive approach might be to let it run till last low at 1.30. Might trail stop on some of the positions using the weekly chart mentioned in previous blog.
